Chiquinha Gonzaga - Her Legacy as part of the Jazz in the Salon series.
This performance will be the launch of a brand new trio comprising of Doug de Vries, Josh Bridges and myself. A very special and intimate performance showcasing the legacy of Brazilian female composer Chiquinha Gonzaga.
Trio Corta Jaca will play a short set as part of the Guitar Perspectives concert “Choro to the Max”.
A concert of Brazilian music and original music by Max Rudd. A concert as part of the 11th Annual Windfire Music Festival. The performance will take place in the Geelong Library ‘Dome’.
For this concert I’ll be doing a set of Brazilian tunes with Max Rudd on seven string guitar and then joining Hermeto Magnetico for the final set of the night.

Only the second show for brand new group Hermeto Magnetico. Playing the music of Brazilian musician and composer Hermeto Pascoal.
A brand new group led by Montana Rose (guitar) will launch at the Jazz Lab jazz club. After months of rehearsals, Hermeto Magnetico are ready to perform their intricate arrangements of Hermeto Pascoal's music. Featuring voice, 3 x flutes, mandolin, guitar and bass.
Max and I will be performing some choro as part of his Masters Recital at the Melbourne University.
